Pink and Orange

In this piece, I was interested in exploring the contrast between color and shape, letting the flowers feel loose and lively against the grounded vase. I created it as a way to step away from control and perfection, and instead follow instinct—letting brushstrokes and color shifts guide the image. Using bold, visible paint marks helped me keep the work energetic and immediate. Rather than focusing on a perfect arrangement, I wanted to capture a sense of rhythm, movement, and the feeling of paint responding in the moment.
